Smelling of balsamic vinegar and prunes, this wine is thoroughly overripe. Its stewed black plum and blackberry jam flavors are straightforward and short. The full body easily supports the alcohol. Tannins are nicely finessed and the crackling acidity gives the wine support. However, the acidity is sharp-edged and not well-integrated.
