Rich and juicy on the nose and palate, this is a boisterous, full-bodied wine with evident alcoholic warmth that is mildly distracting. Otherwise, fruit succulence reigns here. Blackberry, black plum and spice fill the nose. There is weight and unabashed decadence, yet there is drinkability, too. The finish is quick with lightly choppy tannins and bright acidity that give this casual wine good sippability. Drink now–2023.
