Generous forest berries and spice aromas tumble from the glass. Plush with youthful fruit and full in body, this is a dynamic mouthful. The tannins are sculpted and streamlined, leaving a bare hint of dryness on the finish. The acidity initially feels discreet until it raises to a high, refreshing pitch on the back palate. Some alcoholic heat is noticeable but not clumsy. Overall, there’s good substance and layered concentration. Drink now–2024.
