Shades of orange pop through this wine’s dark maroon core. The nose is sultry, smelling of cigar humidor, baking spice and bramble fruits. Well balanced on the palate, the nuanced layers of flavor add on blueberry, musk and new leather. Intriguing, complex and moreish, the creamy palate is smartly balanced between the gently lifting acidity and sleek tannins. All grown-up, this should hold but is ready to enjoy now–2024.
