This spicy, perfumed wine has plentiful scents of musky floral notes alongside an array of Mandarin orange, kumquat and ripe cantaloupe. Medium in body, this wine has a pleasant harmony. The acidity is subtle but supportive, and the overall effect is easy drinkability. Moreover, the finish is entirely dry, cutting off any idea that a generously scented wine might have residual sugar. While a pleasant example of Gewürztraminer, it’s rather simple in flavors and moderated in finish.
