Very deep in mulberry color, this wine has a head-turning aroma. It’s one of those wines you can smell from across the table when the bottle is opened. Smelling and tasting of incense and aged meat, this is a wild, vigorous wine begging for an excellent cut of meat. It is rich in compact, suavely managed tannins and is buoyed by integrated yet vividly fresh acidity. The fruit and spice flavors leisurely linger on the palate. Drink now–2026.
