A soft, even tender, red with generous layers of vanilla, toast, mocha and baking spice, this wine has clearly seen a good bit of barrel and bottle aging. Packed with chunky mulberry and cherry fruit on the palate, the tannins are lush and the seamless acidity nicely lifts the modest finish. This is a crowd-pleaser and it should fly off the shelves or back bar. Drink now–2024.
