Effusive and pleasantly volatile, this wine’s voluptuously ripe fruit aromas shoot out of the glass. Black plum, balsamic, fig and creosote saturate the palate, but then the minerally finish dissipates disappointingly quickly. Rich in body, the wine has sustaining acidity and streamlined tannins. The pleasantly juicy fruit core edged with mushroom and fallen autumn leaves tones remains primarily youthful. This is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
