Tantalizingly spicy on the nose, this wine shows black fruit tones tinged with nuances of evolution. Fallen autumn leaves pervade the palate of blackberry and baked plum. The smartly knit tannins and moderately supporting acidity properly balance it all, but there’s a hint of alcoholic warmth. There’s a granular feel to the moderate finish that makes this a wine for the table. Drink now–2021.
