Aromatically subdued in the glass, the flavors and textures of this wine spread quickly across the palate. Alas,it’s a bit flat and ponderous, with modest acidity fighting to balance a solidly medium body. The forward flavors of toast and coconut almost dominate the peach pit and ripe apricot tones, perhaps exceedingly oaky for aromatic white Rhône enthusiasts. Drink now–2021.
