This bright and rather deep yellow wine boasts a tropical nose of pineapple and star fruit crowned with chamomile. The palate ladles out oodles of fruit, especially dried apricot and lush persimmon, as well as vanilla bean. The medium-bodied palate is custardy and generous, supported by focused acidity. The finish is dry and a bit hard—a surprising contrast to the supple palate. It’s also very brief. Drink now–2022.
