The forward and toasty nose boasts youthful red fruits like raspberries, field strawberries and ripe cherries. The undertones of dusty earth and crushed stone open a compelling dimension of complexity. The solid concentration and lingering finish suggest that this youthful wine should develop nicely in the mid-term and possibly longer. Still, its carefully curated, suave tannins and mellow acidity make it very approachable now. It is worth decanting this wine as it shows a broader, ever more enticing nose every five minutes or so. Drink now–2025.
