Ripe forest fruits on the nose make for a bright, bouncy wine. It doles out flavors of blackberry, black currant and sloe, backed by tones of licorice and musk. The invigorating acidity and firm tannins make this richly flavored and fullbodied wine rather four-square. The crushed slate tone on the medium finish offers even more verve. Drink now–2023.
