This wine offers a nose of cola mixed with Fernet Branca. Muscular on the palate in rich, blackberry fruit concentration, it shows excellent structure. The seamless acidity offers just the right amount of verve on the back palate while the lightly drying tannins frame the juicy fruit core. The medium finish suggests that this wine will hold nicely and should develop to some benefit. Drink now–2024.
