This wine smells downright pretty. Its bouquet begins with dried flowers then segues into a dry-aged meatiness. Full-bodied with well-balanced alcohol, it has pleasantly grippy tannins and vivacious acidity that give it refreshment and should also provide continued longevity. Supple, fresh and fun, it’s excellent at the table but also enjoyable on its own. Drink now–2022.
