Starting off with a large dose of funk, this wine needs some time to air out. Hovering on the edge of volatility, it is likely a love-it-or-leave-it sort of bottling. Aside from its muddled black fruit character that tastes both baked and candied, it is hard to discern other flavors. The feisty tannins and noticeable alcohol give it a disjointed feel. Drink now.
