An incredibly pure aroma cassis carries the nose. Mouthcoating and succulent, the tannins are so feathery that they feel almost doting on the palate. Spritely acidity holds it together and makes it hard to stop sipping. It’s so richly fruited, smooth and vibrantly ripe at first, but with time it opens to an enticing array of tobacco leaves and spices. Drink now–2023.
