This spicy wine has no qualms about being aromatic. Smelling predominantly of smashed forest berries, some vigorous swirling helps to reveal accents of game and earth. The palate dances back and forth between the two camps, focused on blackberry and dry-aged steak. It is full in feel, with enticingly grippy tannins and integrated acidity. Drink now–2024.
