Bruised pomegranate color with a wild cherry-colored rim. Aromas of dark chocolate ss, fading fresh rosemary and real, not powdered hot chocolate grace the nose along with copious quantities of ripe red cherries and a faint whiff of underbrush. Decidedly dry on the attack with notes of cinnamon and allspice. This wine shows a medium body though it comes across lighter due to its juicy tannins and easygoing acidity. Drinks very well now but should hold through 2015.
