Starkly fruit-forward, this wine is plump in notes of blueberry and black cherry while tones of toasty oak and eucalyptus sit on the fringes. Despite the gutsy concentration, the palate is polished by glossy, mouthcoating tannins and pronounced, supportive acidity. This is showing well now, especially as the new oak is very delicate and allows the fruit to shine through. Drink now–2021.
