Beetle shell black in color with a tiny mulberry rim, this wine has a sultry nose of forest berry and Band-Aid. The palate echoes the nose but brings on a distinct bitterness. Flavors of black plum skin and pithy, dried black currant snap across the palate. It’s a demanding wine with a short and dry finish. Drink now–2021.
