This wine has an exotic and enticing perfume of bramble, damp earth and asphalt. It’s fresh on the palate in flavors of blackberry and black currant. Everything about its linear structure is compelling and well-placed. The acidity is scintillatingly refreshing and the slightly scruffy tannins don’t dry out the palate. It would work well with food yet it is also wonderful on its own. Drink now–2021.
