Seductively smoky on the nose, this white has an unusual but appealing meaty and savory quality to it. The palate echoes the nose, showcasing fireplace embers and bouillon tones, along with dashes of sweet spice and candied apple. Round and sumptuous on the medium-bodied palate, this has integrated but very perky acidity. Finishing resolutely dry on a lightly waxy finish, this is best enjoyed at the table with food.
