Dark core with bright, raspberry inflections. Blackberry and briar patch fruits surface with time on the reticent nose. Fresh green bean notes are both pleasant and distracting. Odd lactic undertones. Full-bodied on the palate with moderate viscosity, this wine shows just enough of a spark of acidity to keep it balanced. It verges on flabby. Very short finish. Drink now to 2014.
