This is a charmer of a wine, with a charismatic new-oak tone and a perfectly ripe fruit aroma. The palate is saturated in a ripe black-fruit character and a toasty oak tone. The glossy palate-coating character is nicely defined by the scintillating acidity and gentle but furrowing tannins that creep well into the lingering finish of slate and black currant. Drink now–2024.
