This wine has an effusive nose of roasted game, briar fruit, cinnamon stick, marzipan and dried earth. The palate is expansive and full-bodied, with harmoniously balanced acidity and reserved tannins that lead into a mineral-driven and flavorful finish. This concentrated and layered Shiraz has aged well and is showing immediate appeal, though it has the structure to hold for a while longer. Drink now–2020.
