This wine has gorgeous ripe fruit on the nose, with aromas of mulberries and black cherries leading the way. The palate changes face with a surprisingly firm texture and tones of charcoal and grilled fruit. With air, vanilla and toasted oak rush to envelop the fruit. The choppy tannins and vivid acidity cut through the fruit flavors on the modest finish.
