This youthful wine has a forward nose of flashy black fruits and well-aged, high-end balsamic vinegar. This is a vigorous wine, stuffed with both fruit- and soil- driven character. While full-bodied and heady in alcohol, a well-placed structure supports this intense bottling. The pleasantly dusty tannins and almost prickly acidity provide a seesaw of balance here. There’s some noticeable evolution thanks to the dried fruit and mushroom character. This is ready to drink now.
