Über black core with a purple-ruby-inflected pink meniscus. Massively mineral nose shows black licorice, blackberry and cassis notes. Impressive fruit purity. Predominant, and rather tiring, viscosity parks on the full-bodied palate. The restrained acidity lacks the enlivening element the palate needs. The tannins are well polished. Drink now to 2015 and may hold longer.
