This wine has a bright, fresh and clean nose that displays aromas of evergreen, raspberry and gingerbread. As it opens, the forest scents continue to develop in the glass along with red currants and cranberries. The medium-bodied palate has grip and focus. Given the layered flavors, this has time to come around in bottle. The solid finish is electric and invigorating in palate-lifting acidity. This is a lovely, well-framed wine that offers freshness.
