Pale crimson, this wine’s forward aromas show fresh fruit and a funky note. With time in the glass, the wine opens up a cornucopia of forest berries but the presence of underbrush and dried leather remain firmly present. The palate allows for more fruit emphasis, mixing in black cherries and blueberries almost popping from their ripeness. The silky smooth tannins are almost imperceptible, and the waterfall of acidic freshness gives this wine good length. Nicely layered in flavors, this wine has the to evolve well in bottle. Drink now–2022.
