Midnight black at the core, this wine has a brooding and elusive nose, though aromas of black raisin, licorice and dried fig can be coaxed form the glass. Despite its fierce and stubborn nose, the palate turns out to be much kinder the fruit is beautifully ripened and distinctly pure, melding well with the smartly balanced structure. Full of vigor and youthfulness, this will hang on for a while and develop. Drink now–2021.
