This wine has a boldly black core with a seductive and expansive nose. Soft and creamy on the attack, it’s perky and impressively well-balanced by lifted acidity seamlessly entwined with gently supportive tannins. With time in the glass, the loganberry and black currant aromas evolve to release strains of lavender, fresh strawberry and asphalt. Charming in its youth, this is showing excellent concentration and a medium finish, indicating that it may age well. Drink now–2021.
