This is a pleasantly boisterous wine without being brashly bold. Excellent acidic tension nicely frames the wine while the powder-soft tannins offer additional support. It is unabashedly fruit-driven with its rivetingly pure blackberry tone, topped off with tufts of mint. The finish is only moderate with flavors of cracked black peppercorns, but this massively flavorful wine delivers exceptional pleasure. Drink now–2023.
