This deeply black wine has a gorgeously pure, though highly evolved, nose with a blackberry note to mesh with its more mature aromas. However, the wine is so simple and straightforward as to almost be monotone in its modestly concentrated palate of black plums, tinged with black olive on the short finish. Lacking structural charisma given its mild tannins and almost flabby acidity, this is ready to drink now.
