Fairly fresh nose focused on straw and white flower notes. Lemon pith on the nose is also exhibited on the palate along with evident astringency, which is nevertheless pleasant. Lemon curd core with pink grapefruit defines this wine. The acidity is searing and there is a lingering tannic sensation that stands out on this rather light-bodied wine. Drink now to three years.
