This wine’s aromatics are just starting to show some of the benefits of bottle age in their tones of musk, pencil ss and crunchy, fallen leaves. The palate brings on macerated black plums and black currants, with no overtly evident oak tones, along with a tingly and bitter tannic snap. This fervently begs for charred meats or game.
