This gold-colored white wine displays its smoky and oaky side up front, with hidden doses of green apple, peach and burnt sugar hiding in the shadows. On the palate, the smoky and woody notes continue to take center stage. While the fruit is certainly detectable, the balance feels a bit off keel.
