A somewhat generous nose brings about aromas of candied cherry, plum, cola and Concord grape. Hints of tomato leaf and dried Italian herbs add an intriguing character. The palate offers a soft and juicy mouthfeel, with plenty of black fruit flavors, yet it can’t shake a persistent grape juice character that carries through to the medium-length finish.
