This wine is superpale in color and spicy on the nose. The palate leads to loads of resiny characters, with a pithy peach-skin flavor and texture. Though incredibly light in alcohol, it has plenty of heft to stand up to brioche-encrusted melted cheeses or savory apple and cheese sausages. Showing well now, it’s so delightful that it’s pointless to wait to enjoy it, though it can last. Drink now–2020.
