This fresh and pure dark-cherry-colored wine is rather monotone on the nose. This first impression extends onto the palate, delivering a pure and straightforward flavor of mixed forest berries. It’s a deeply Grenache-like wine, with no evident new oak and very little Mourvèdre showing through. With only moderate extraction delivering some pleasantly textured tannins to the dense yet vivacious midpalate, this would pair perfectly with barbecue fare. Drink now–2022.
