This Chardonnay has a curiously light-pink color and a huge, watery rim. It is grapey and sappy on the nose, with loads of spice, tinned peaches and maraschino cherries. It is pleasantly floral, too, but its full body and sappy, sweet, viscous texture really makes it cloying. Moreover, there’s a slightly harsh acidity on the back palate that is disjointed, too. Drink now.
