Deep scarlet in color, this wine boasts impressive fragrances of mulberries, blueberries and lilacs. There is a full-on continuation of the youthful, whimsical nose right onto the palate. Though not shy on alcohol, it feels more medium-bodied, even with its pillowy tannins and primly integrated acidity. Medium-length on the finish, with some oak spice surfacing there, it sips well alone or with casual fare. Though it may hold over the short-term, its freshness is its calling card, so enjoy now.
