Broodingly black at the core, this wine has a full and concentrated black-fruit bouquet. The palate is thick and full bodied, with a dense texture and light glycerol. Happily, there’s lovely and finely tuned acidic lift to keep the flavors of boysenberries, balsamic, allspice and burned sugar tasting vibrant. The very long finish suggests this wine has time to hold in bottle. There’s no need to rush drink through 2021.
