This deep-colored, black-inflected red wine boasts a dark magenta rim and a boisterous nose full of smoky tones, sweet spices and baked black fruits. Lifting acidity and a generous coating of chunky, leathery tannins nicely focuses the expansive, full-bodied palate. Medium-plus in length, the wine has loads of intensity and very good fruit concentration. The well-placed structure and lingering finish should give this wine plenty of staying power.
