This wine has a very pale color and a large white rim. Its nose is confusing, with a forward non-fruit character of almond peel. The palate follows on with a decidedly acidic attack, alongside notes of yellow plum and wet river rock. It’s tart and lean, with a short finish. Drink now–2018.
