This wine’s aromas and flavors are seriously shy. Hints of Marasca cherry and eucalyptus unfold in the bouquet with time in the glass, while flavors of tobacco leaf, dried soil and sundried tomato emerge on the dry finish. Otherwise, this is a pent-up and mature bottling that works best with a hearty meat dish given its dusty tannins and bustling acidity. Drink now.
