Deep black at the core, this wine has an exceedingly ripe nose that smells of prunes and roasted figs. Similarly, the palate tastes of smashed figs and black raisins. Surprisingly, the palate is very firm thanks to its dry and dusty tannins. Fortunately, the relaxed acidity is integrated and doesn’t further emphasize the palate’s harshness. Drink now.
