This onyx-colored wine has a small, dark ruby rim and a rather stubborn nose. It shows lovely fruit on the palate, with loads of black cherries, cobbler fruits and sweet spices. Generous and supple in the mouth, it has discreet but lifting acidity that gives it overall balance. Long on the finish, it drinks beautifully now, but it has the framing structure and good complexity to age well through 2020.
