Inky black at the core, this wine has a bright magenta rim. Its nose is extravagant and chock-full of clove, cinnamon, licorice, cola and gooey black cherries. While the aromas are enticing, the palate is exceedingly overripe, tasting of prunes and black raisins. The tannins are low intensity and so is the acidity, resulting in a flat mouthfeel that lacks liveliness.
